I Love Spring Flowers

Spring is such a beautiful time of year. Everything is greening up. The trees are either in bloom or are sending out new leaves, lawns are waking up and - the best part of all - there are flowers coming out everywhere. Spring is about new beginnings and renewal - a chance to try again even if you've failed before. Spring is full of hope and energy. I really do love this time of year. Life is Unpredicable

Life is so unstable it can be hard to deal with at times. It seems that just when I get used to things, they change. The only real stability I have in life is the gospel. I'm so grateful for the guidance and stability the gospel provides. It is the calm in the storm of life. This may sound cliche' but it acts as my foundation, providing me strength when things are tough. Heavenly Father is so wise. His commandments really are blessings not restrictions. I'm grateful for this guidance and am so grateful to have the gospel in my life.

Belated Wish

I know it's a little late, but I wanted to wish Brad a Happy Birthday. His birthday was actually last week - I didn't forget about it. In fact, I secretly made arrangements for a babysitter and took him out for dinner to his favorite restaurant. Then we did a little shopping - for him of course and headed home to open his presents with Winston and watch a favorite movie before heading to bed. All in all we had a great time together. He's my best friend and I love spending time with him. Happy 40-somethingth Brad! You have all my love and always will.
